

Born in Lynchburg, she is the precious daughter of Wendell Kenneth Johnson of Bedford and Kathie Carwile Morgan and her husband, Elwood J. Morgan, Jr., of Lynchburg. Her paternal grandparents are Bevie Johnson of Bedford and the late Kenneth Johnson and her maternal grandparents are Kathryn Carwile Hanlin and her husband, William, of Lynchburg and the late Walter Dewitt Carwile, Jr.
Rachael was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church and was employed by the Gentle Care Animal Hospital. She received her BS from Liberty University in 2007. She loved her family and friends and especially God’s creatures, great and small.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, Rachael is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Josh Quintero, nephews Jude, Gabriel and Elias Quintero and, sister-in-law, Leah Horton, all of Lynchburg.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Thomas Road Baptist Church by the Pastor Jonathan Falwell, The Rev. Dr. Steve Wingfield and the Rev. Ken Parrish. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
