Richard Lee Lillard

Born August 5, 1946 in Lynchburg, He was the son of the late Samuel McKinley and Emma Scott Lillard. Mr. Lillard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired truck driver with J.GF. Trucking after 17 years of employment. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Marie Lillard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Dawn L. Mason and her husband Wayne of Rustburg, two grandchildren, Brian Lillard and Makayla Mason; one great-granddaughter, Amiya Lillard; three step-children, Richard Carter and his wife, Heather of Serria Vista, AZ., Patricia C. Anderson and husband Danny of Long Beach, Ca, Donna Carter and husband Brett of Glen Allen.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30p.m. Friday, February 18, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel conducted by the Dr. Robert Van Engen. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30-7:30p.m. at the funeral home.
