Robbie Mays Williams

Robbie was born on December 18, 1939 in Lynchburg and was the daughter of Lucy Jean Johnson Mays and the late Robert Nathaniel Mays. In addition to her Father, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Sidney Raymond Williams; a sister, Hilda Marie Simonton and a grandson, Michael Wayne Patterson.

Robbie devoted her life to her family and enjoyed reading, vacationing to the beach, riding motorcycles and collecting porcelain dolls. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Rustburg.

Robbie is survived by her daughters Wanda Williamson and her boyfriend Jimmie Womack, Debbie Hendricks Warren and her husband Tom; sister Deveta Jean Harris; grandchildren Steve Alan Hendricks Jr., Brandy Nicole Hendricks and Brian Keith Williamson; great-grandchildren Jessika Hendricks Canzone, Raymond Jaxon Williamson, Leland Joy Williamson and a great-great grandson, Frank Anthony Canzone V.

A memorial service celebrating Robbie’s life will be conducted on Monday, November 22 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel at 7pm.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and afterwards until 8pm.
