Robert N. Mayberry

Robert Newton Mayberry, 80, of Rustburg passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rebecca Mayberry. Born on October 18, 1939 he was a son of the late Frances Fitzgerald. Robert was a retired truck driver with JGF Trucking. He is survived by four step sons, Steve Goding of Rustburg, Tracy Goding and his wife Janet of Martinsville, David Fitzgerald of Madison Heights, and Danny Hudson of Lynchburg; a daughter, Sharon Mayberry of Madison Heights; six grandchildren, Amanda, Amber, Brandon, Corey, Tiffany, and Randy; and a half-sister, Barbara Barabach. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 12, 2020 at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
