Robert David Wood

Robert David Wood, 56 of Lynchburg, passed away on Wednesday May 1, 2024. He was born in Lynchburg on June 23, 1967, son of the late Robert E. Wood and the late Ella A. Wood. Robert loved the beach and loved to talk; he never met a stranger. He was a graduate of Brookville High School and his favorite color was yellow and he enjoyed the Washington Commanders. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Kimberly Wood and Nancy VanHall; two brothers, Michael Wood and Roy Murray as well as his former wife Christy Wood. Services will be held at a later date.
