Sandi Clark

Sandi Clark, 57, of Lynchburg, wife, mother, and talented artist, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at her residence. She was the devoted wife of John Clark for forty-two years.

Born July 3, 1953 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Mamie Moyer Bragg and was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles L. Bragg of Gettysburg, PA.

In addition to her husband, Sandi is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lynn Clark of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Kenneth Bragg and wife, Chris of Waldorf, MD; two sisters, Alice Campbell and husband, Murrell of Lynchburg and Sheila Mays and husband, Dale of Hopewell and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Chaplain Miriam Dakin officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the funeral home.

Sandi and her husband wish to thank Dr. Kathleen Paul and all the nurses and staff at the Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center, the staff at Centra Hospice and the volunteers at Meals on Wheels.
