Sarah Marie Blackwell Baker

Born on July 10, 1930 in Scofield, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine Blackwell. Sarah was retired from Heronimus Department Store and formerly employed by Duti-Duds Manufacturing Company. She was a charter member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Blackwell and three sisters, Louise Walker, Frances Mathews, and Helen George.

She is survived by numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Dave Heerspink officiating. Following the service there will be a period of visitation and reception. Interment will be private.
