Born August 2, 1949 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Wilson, Jr. and the late Mae Bryan Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elaine Wilson Carwile. Selma was retired from Bausch & Lomb and was of Baptist faith.
Selma was a joy to be around. She loved everyone she came in contact with and always left a warm, lasting impression with her kind, genuine energy. She loved to go fishing with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren. The time she spent with them was priceless. Selma had a laugh that could light up a room. She will forever be missed and always remembered. May she rest peacefully.
Selma is survived by her daughters, Heather Flores Dooley and Callie Flores Miller, both of Lynchburg; a brother, James Franklin Wilson, III of Miami, FL and five grandchildren, Bryson Dooley, Cayden Dooley, Leigha Dooley, Jordan “J.J.” Miller and Camden Miller.
