Shirley May Wilson Reynolds

Shirley May Wilson Reynolds, 77, of Bedford, died, Sunday, June 24, 2012, at home. She was the wife of the late Willie Lee Reynolds. Born December 8, 1934, in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Henry Vernon Wilson and the late Annie Sligh Orange.

Shirley was a retired home healthcare giver for Charles Hancock and was a member of Christian Chapel.

In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by three children, Connie Lee Reynolds, Vernon Reynolds and Trena Dawn Reynolds; and two siblings, Margaret Caldwell and James Clayton Orange

Shirley is survived by nine children, Shellah Reynolds Sines and her husband James Jr. of Bedford, Willie Lee Reynolds, Jr. of Lynchburg, Steven T. Reynolds and friend Bonnie of Amherst, Carol Lawhorne and her husband Eddie of Lynchburg, Lourie Reynolds of Bedford County, Dianne McClain and her husband Victor of Ohio, Jody Reynolds Lee and her husband Charles of Lynchburg, Michael Boswell of Roanoke and Tye Reynolds of Bedford; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ray Triplett. Interment will follow at Norwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
