

Born August 12, 1972, Ted was an exceptional husband and father. His gentle and compassionate nature was truly one-in-a-million, and he created an unforgettable atmosphere for anyone fortunate enough to have known him. With a love for the great outdoors, Ted found peace and joy in hunting and fishing whenever he had the opportunity. His family and friends were well aware that his sense of humor knew no limits, as he constantly delighted those around him with his playful joking and teasing. With pride, he was dedicated in his service in the US Navy and the National Guard where he served his country. Ted's devotion to his family was reciprocated by their deep affection for him, as he embodied an unparalleled kindness that surpassed all expectations. Meeting Ted meant encountering the epitome of warmth, compassion, and love.
Ted was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Storm Viar; and his mother Elizabeth Alice Viar.
Those left to cherish Ted’s memory include his loving wife Tammy Lee Viar; his children Charlie Hanna Viar, and Kelsey Hope Viar; his father Clarence Ronald Viar; and his brother Christian Viar.
A memorial service for Ted will be held at Whitten Timberlake Chapel on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m officiated by Pastor Marvin Busie.
