Tom was born in Rochester, NY, December 12, 1986 the son of Peter and Elaine Prusak of Culpeper. Growing up in New York, Tom loved attending the Lighthouse Christian Camp. He also loved sports, including golf, football and baseball. He also enjoyed hunting and spending times outdoors, most recently enjoyed spending time at Buggs Island Lake. Tom was also an avid LU Flames fan as well as the Washington Nationals.
Tom never met a stranger, he cared deeply for others and he had a unique way of connecting with people and investing his life in others.
He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend. His love and care for others was evident and he was a true example of Christlikeness.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Joy Prusak; his son, Ezekiel Alan Prusak; his daughter, Elliana Joy Prusak all of Forest; two brothers, Samuel Prusak (Christi) and Peter Prusak (Rachel); two sisters, Joanna Thomas (Stephen) and Susanna Prusak; his father and mother-in-law, Eugene and Sharon Nichols; two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Hester (John) and Christi Wynn (John); four brothers-in-law, Mike Nichols (Sarah), Jon Nichols (Deanna), Tim Nichols (Evelyn) and David Nichols (Meghan) and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Tom’s life and faith will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 at Timberlake Baptist Church with Pastor Bryan Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
