Born October 11, 1936 in Campbell County, he was the son of the late Harry Franklin Lair, Jr. and Reva Cyrus Lair. Mr. Lair retired from Taylor-Ramsey Corp. with twenty-five years of service and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Providence United Methodist Church.
Mr. Lair is survived by one brother, Edward F. Lair of Falcon, MO and a sister, Elizabeth L. Gaddy of Lynchburg.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2012 at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Andrew Grose officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel.
