Joseph W. Perry

He was born on November 19, 1933 in Tupper Lake, NY. He is survived by William R. (Teresa) Perry; Theresa (James Melin) Monthony; Bernadette Mahar; Joanne (Joseph) Weinstein. He was a proud grandpa of twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Doris Gandolph of Albany; Nancy Peckham of Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 33 years, Janet Perry and a brother Fred, and a sister, Wanda.

Joseph worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years, retiring in 1995. After his retirement he was groundskeeper at Golden Hill State Park. He loved golfing, fishing, the outdoors, his family and especially his dog, Prince.

Joseph was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Barker and St. Joseph’s/ Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Lyndonville, where he served as Eucharistic Minister for both Church’s.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake/ St. Joseph Parish on Friday, October 31, 2014, at 2:00 PM with the Pastor, Fr. James Hassett celebrating.
