Barbara Cornelison was born on February 29, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to parents Charles D. and Jennieve (Gooznski) Willgues and entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2017 at the age of 89. Barbara was a very special person; sweet, caring and loving. She was funny and fun to be around, even childlike on occasions. Barbara worked for Lore of Dallas for 15 plus years in the 50’s and 60’s. She was a member of the American Legion and VFW for the past 25 years. Barbara loved to play Bingo and penny-anti poker. She enjoyed spending her summers at the lake fishing. Barbara was known to party back in the day and even frequented Jack Ruby’s nightclubs in the 50’s. She was an amazing lady and Barbara will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emmit Russel Cornelison, son Danny and daughter Brenda.
She is survived by her 10 amazing grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
