BoJames Markes Shewmaker

BoJames Markes Shewmaker, age 38, of Eustace, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. B.J was born January 21, 1984; to parents, James Ray Shewmaker and Hazel Kathileen Massey. He was a caring and doting son, brother, father, and grandfather; who loved spending time with his beautiful family. B.J. was adventurous and diligent, he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Christian by faith, he praised his Lord at the Zion Hill Full Gospel Church. B.J. will be truly missed by all of those he met and knew in his lifetime.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Geneva Annette Shewmaker Gorum.

B.J. is survived by his children, Joslyn Cheyann Shewmaker of Tyler, TX., Anthony Daniel Owens of Tyler, TX., Samantha Duvall and son-in-law, Scotland of Gun Barrel City, TX., James Rogers of Nacogdoches, TX., David Morgan of Nacogdoches, TX.; parents, Kathy and J.R. Shewmaker of Eustace, TX.; brothers, Dustin Ray Shewmaker and sister-in-law, Cassie Bodine of Trinidad, TX., Joshua Vee Shewmaker and sister-in-law, Bobbie of Gun Barrel City, TX.; grandchildren, River Duvall of Gun Barrel City, TX., Kayden Duvall of Gun Barrel City, TX., Ryker Duvall; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
