Braelen Lee Stokley

Braelen Lee Stokley passed away peacefully on August 13, 2018 in Kemp, Texas. He was born on June 30, 2018 in Dallas, Texas and the son of Kristin Stokley and Matthew Elliott. Braelen was just learning how to smile and make cooing sounds. He loved his “paci”, being held and talked to. Though his time here on earth was short, he left behind a lifetime of love for his family.

Braelen was preceded in death by his grandmother Jacquelyn Gollotte, great-grandmother Rentha Stokley, great-grandfather James Jordan and aunt Sherre Signa.

He is survived by his loving parents Kristin Stokley of Kemp, TX and Matthew Elliott of Gatesville, TX, brothers; Braeden, Braezen, Nathan, Lucas and Simon, grandmother Amanda Davis and husband James Jones of Laurel, MS, grandmother Tonya McCoy and husband Craig of Gatesville, TX, aunt Alyssa Davis of Laurel, MS, grandfather Mark Stokley of Mobile, AL and great-grandmother Martha McCoy of Gatesville, TX and other loving family members.

Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep;

If I die before I wake,

I pray the Lord my soul to take.
