Brenton Kobe Waits, beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away on February 21, 2025, at UT Health East Texas in Gun Barrel City. He was Born on April 5, 2002, to his parents Tiffany Ann Parrott and Christopher Brenton Waits.
Kobe was truly a one-of-a-kind person who always knew how to bring a smile to anyone’s face. You could always find him busy working on a vehicle, building something random, or finding the next best place to eat some good food. When Kobe did anything, it was sure to be bigger and better than ever done before- and with his own twist. He took pride in everything he did- from soccer, to his sneaker and hoodie collection, to his vehicles. He also had two dogs Jax and Booker who he treated like royalty and loved very much. “Wokuii” was a wonderful friend to countless people and would do anything for any of them, no questions asked.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his older brother, Casey; younger sisters, Karson and Addie; grandparents; great-grandparents; his two dogs; and so many friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
