Carla Ann Smith

Carla Ann (Hill) Smith was born to parents Charles Winford Hill, Sr. and Ann Danielle (Timmons) Hill on April 9, 1965. She entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2022. Carla was blessed with a beautiful bunch of children who loved her immensely, her greatest joy in this life was when she became a grandmother. Carla’s grandchildren were her most precious gift on this side of Heaven, she loved nothing more than spending time with them and making memories that they will all carry with them for a lifetime. Carla was a social lady, she loved talking on the phone and being a part of the Faith Ministry that met at the Mabank Pavilion where she worshipped with Mimi. In her free time, Carla enjoyed gardening when she could and was always up for watching movies, especially if it included her family. She is now in the loving arms of her God, where no pain or grief can reach her. Each and every life she touched will miss her dearly.

Carla was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Ann Hill; son, Eric Stephen Smith. She is survived by her children, Amber Dawn Dunn and husband Blake, Shonda Nicole Smith and fiancé Brian Spindle and son Garry Wayde Smith; grandchildren, Nicolas James Dunn, Cameron Bree Dunn and Jacobi Aiden Smith; brother, Charles “Bubba” Hill, Jr. and wife Kim; sister, Dana Sebring Riley and husband Charles. She also leaves behind numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held March 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
