Chamlong "CJ" Agnes Jennell Elberson, age 58, of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 with her beloved husband by her side. CJ was born in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand on October 8, 1965. She was then adopted by her loving parents, William Elberson and Evelyn (Ray) Elberson.
CJ grew up in a loving home with her parents and her siblings. She graduated from High School and started working right after. In 1987, she met her best friend and love of her life, William (Bill). After dating for 6 years, she finally married the man of her dreams on November 5, 1994 and with this she got 3 daughters as well; Jennifer, Christina (Chrissy), and Hope and Bill welcomed 2 sons Larry Rush, and Joseph Rush, completing her happy family.
CJ was an avid animal lover as well. Her home has been always filled with kittens and puppies of all ages and sizes. It was and always will be a home filled with love.
Chamlong worked several jobs in retail, usually as a Sales Associate. She loved being around people and making them smile. Everyone that knew CJ loved her, she touched everyone’s lives that she was around.
CJ is survived by her beloved husband, William Allen Elberson Jr.; her son Joseph Rush of Gun Barrel City, Texas; her son Larry Rush of Texas; her daughter Christina (Chrissy) Elberson of New Jersey; her daughter Hope Elberson-Hoagland; and her daughter Jennifer Elberson; her mother Evelyn (Ray) Elberson of Kerrville, Texas; her sister Dorothy Hassle of Kerrville, Texas and her brothers James Elberson of California; and Eric Elberson of Mesquite, Texas. And many more beloved grandkids, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
CJ was preceded in death by her father William Elberson; her granddaughter Asia Rush.
