Clarence Wayne Brewer also known as Sonny, was born December 20, 1938 in Lubbock, Texas to parents Rufus and Mary (Cobb) Brewer and entered eternal rest on June 27, 2021 at the age of 82.
Wayne attended First Baptist Church of Gun Barrel City where he served as a Deacon. He also enjoyed working in his shop and puzzles in his free time.
Wayne was preceded in death by his: mother and father, Rufus and Mary Brewer; son, Barry Wayne Brewer and sister LaVerne Fleming.
He is survived by his: wife of almost 60 years Carrie (Byers) of Mabank; daughter, Gayla Stewart of Mabank; grandson, Mathew Stewart; his church family and many friends.
