Born on August 2, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas, Denise was a daughter of Owen Hill and Jacquelyn Marie Land Hill.
Denise graduated from Grand High School in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her hobbies consist of reading her Bible, studying the Word of God, watching her western shows which she loved tremendously, and loved spending time with her daughter. She had several jobs, but her most recent was a dispatcher with Seven Points Police Department, as well as Spectrum Cable Company. She was a very simple woman that lived her life to the fullest and made sure that everyone else was okay before herself. She loved her family. On Sundays, she would attend Restoration Church to enjoy her loving church family.
Denise is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn Denise Hill of Gun Barrel City, Texas; her father Owen Hill; a brother Owen Kenta Hill; her aunt Sandra Faye Land Smith; and her uncle Larry Hill, Sr. She is also survived by her dear friends Tammy Johnson and her husband, George; and her godchildren, Justin Johnson and Toni Johnson Garcia, who she loved to the moon and back. Denise also left behind her sister-friend Salathia Curtis and her husband Pastor Robert Curtis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Restoration Church in Eustace, Texas.
