Frances was born on June 1, 1926 in Minco, OK to parents James Henry Gabehart and Jesse Laura Cookston and entered into eternal rest on April 12, 2015 at the age of 88. Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being with her family and grandchildren. Frances grew up in a cabin in Grants, New Mexico. She loved the mountains and beautiful country sides. Frances enjoyed growing her vegetable garden and canning. She loved living, had a good heart and you never heard a hateful word come from her mouth. Frances looked forward to her Saturday phone calls from her son in Montana. She loved the Lord and was baptized on June 11, 1978. Frances was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed by all those who loved her.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 47 years; W. J. Tarno, several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son W.O. Tarno, son Terry Tarno and wife Linda, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters scattered throughout the United States, host of extended family and friends.
