

Jim Macdonald, (James Stuart Augustine Macdonald) passed away into eternal rest on March16, 2016. Jim was born on February 12, 1937 and was pre-deceased by his parents, Stuart and Dorothea Macdonald, his younger brother Neil, and his beloved wife Charlotte Ann (Charli) Macdonald. He is survived by his three sons (and their wives) Brian Scott Macdonald of Fulton, CA, Timothy Stuart Macdonald of Northport, NY, Darren Charles Macdonald of Rocklin, Ca and his step-son (more of a son) Codi B White of Payne Springs, TX.
Jim leaves 10 grandchildren (one of which passed into heaven from the fallopian tube): Ian Macdonald, Elizabeth Macdonald, Emily Macdonald, Ellen Macdonald, Laura Macdonald, Meagan Macdonald, Brian Macdonald, Jocelin White and Amber Crabtree. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters Alanna Macdonald and Valerie Macdonald.
Jim was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus Assembly 2570 and Council 8806. He was a two term Grand Knight and three term Trustee of his council as well as a one term Trustee of his Assembly. He was an active parishioner of Saint Jude’s Roman Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City, Texas. As lector, extraordinary minister of the Holy Eucharist and member of St. Judes Men’s Ministry. Jim was also past president of the Cedar Creek Republican Club.
