Jerome E. Gordon Sr.

Jerome E. Gordon was born on July 15, 1921 in Liberty, Kansas to parents Luther G. and Katie Faye (Reed) Gordon and entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2019 at the age of 97. Jerome loved baseball and especially enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers play. He enjoyed being outdoors; hunting and fishing. Jerome also loved playing the harmonica and carpentry work. He was an amazing man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, wife Tessie Marie Crandall Gordon, brother Herman Brooks Gordon and sisters; Clara Ruth, Bobbie, Trevah and Thelma Dean.

He is survived by his daughter Trevahann Panek of Johnston, PA, daughter Debra Grippe of Payne Springs, son Jerome E. Gordon Jr. of Payne Springs, daughter Deanna Landers and husband Billy Dewayne of Grand Prairie, grandchildren; Kathleen Panek-Mahoney, Damian Panek, Fred Grippe Jr., Angela Dawn Booth, Ashley Cabaniss, Theresa Janet Huggett, Bryan Preston Gordon, Brittany Nicole Gordon and Davon Lynn Landers, 7 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
