I'm sorry I  didn't know your son.but we have two Marines in the family. God bless you in your grief and hold you tight as you face a future far different than what you expected. His service to protect me was appreciated.  I know freedom isn't free. We don't know why God calls home someone so young.  May you find comfort in the prayers of all the Marines who served with him.

I only knew you for a short time working together as kids at WhatsUp fun park

Jesus was a fun and loyal spirit, dedicated to his work and friends

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your son. I can’t imagine the pain you and your family are going through, but I want you to know that my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Although we’ve only worked together for a few months, please know that I truly care and am here for you in any way you need. Your son’s service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

My sincerest condolences to the Mendoza family. Mendoza was always such a pleasure to be around, he was so so kind & very fun to joke and laugh with.  Him and his family will be in my prayers.

My heart goes out to this loving family and neighbor whose proud young son is now in the hands of God.  The purpose God had in this taking is not understood by us, but will be left for time to help bring  some peace to our hearts over such a tragic loss.  He made the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country.  May this not be in vain.  He lived and died a proud Marine.

His smile shined bright enough to blind a room.  His laugh was truly infectious. I hope wherever he is, he continues to laugh away. My condolences.

i met jesus at a time in my life where i was struggling. he showed me so much love and compassion. he’s my biggest cheerleader, encouraging and believing in me when i didn’t myself.  jesus is a once in a lifetime person and im so grateful that i had him in mine.

Still friends with all these years been with you through thick and thin. All throughout grade school and some after. This is what makes us brothers.

I still remember the days that we will hang out nearly everyday playing in the backyard, playing video games on the PS2, or just being dumb. Those were the golden times. I will miss you and I will cherish these memories as long as I live. I love you bro.

Mendoza was a wonderful Marine and person. He was hard working, driven and funny. He could alway put a smile on everyone’s face.

Mendoza was the happiness to many Marines who were away from their loved ones. May he forever be in our hearts!

I’m going to miss him from his stupid witty, and maybe not publicly appropriate, jokes to the sit down talks we’d have in our rooms. I cherished every second we had with each other even and will continue to do so through the memories and pictures that I have of us. He will always be with us and I know this because he always loved just being around with the boys. Til Valhalla and Semper Fidelis to my best buddy, I love you man.

Like bread and butter he and I were as close as we could be and always found time to just hang out and be with each other.

Not only was he a good dude, he’s a great Marine who always strived to be better at his job no matter how much he complained about it. He was destined to do things greater than himself whether it was in or out of uniform.

My deepest condolences to his family who he loved more than anything. Since day one of checking into this unit he’s been my best friend. From sitting at a Mexican restaurant telling each other how we’d ask the waitress for her number (it never happened), to peeing next to each other on the same pine tree, to rebuilding Marshall, NC after hurricane Helene, day in and day out there’s always a smile on his face and never a dull moment with our friendship. Nothing prepares you in life for someone this close to be gone so soon but it makes you stop and think about all the good times you had with each other.

Mendoza, it was such a pleasure sharing your company at work in Okinawa, you had the best sense of humor and an infectious smile. I am glad to have laughed and worked by your side and am further so sorry to see you are no longer with us. Miss you man

Once during football practice I remember  playing on scout team defense. This was freshman year. I had come off my block, and right there was Jesus Mendoza who went through me like a knife through butter. He must have trucked me for about ten yards. Jesus was a powerful athlete whenever he carried the ball he stepped with power, and on defense he would come down hill ontop of the ball carrier like a hammer hitting a nail.

Descansar en paz primo 🙏 I’ll miss you brother! You were so funny and kind. There are no words for the pain we feel as a family. I’m forever lucky and grateful to have had you as cousin. You made us all proud ❤️ you will forever be missed Jesus Adalberto 🕊️

Jesus was one of the most respectful student a Teacher could ever ask for.   May God be with you and your family and Friends.

Jesus was a great Friend.He always had a very positive attitude in anything he did and towards life in general and was also very hard working. He was always someone you could talk to and count on if you ever needed a friend/brother.I am very thankful for the moments we got to spend together in High school and on the Football field every Friday night  i always felt better knowing he always had my back.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mendoza . I had the pleasure of knowing him while in the military. He always had a smile on his face and was constantly making others laugh, even during the most strenuous times. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed. – Saul

This picture was taken while we were out in western NC, helping clean up after hurricane Helene. Jesus was always quick to lend a helping hand, whether that meant helping me get furniture out of the barracks, or driving hours away to help complete strangers, he was there.

I took this picture of Jesus Mendoza during one of our training exercises out in Nevada. We sure did embraced the sucks, some long days and cold nights up in those mountains but he always had a smile on him.

My fiancé and I both worked with Jesus at Whatz Up years ago. Jesus is one of the kindest people I have met. I am so sad to hear of this news and I offer my condolences as I know how hard of a time this must be.
