Jimmy Wayne Thorne

Jimmy Thorne was born to parents, Johnny and Lottie Thorne on May 9, 1953. He entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2021. Jimmy was a kind and gentle man, who loved his family fiercely. They were his greatest treasure in this life. He was full of love and laughter, always ready with a joke and a smile. Jimmy loved fishing, playing horseshoes and was an avid reader in his free time. His favorite pastime was spending time with his precious family. Jimmy married his beautiful wife, Sheryl, on February 7, 1998 and they built a beautiful life together. He was a loving husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather; grandchildren brought a special blessing to his heart. Jimmy adored his family and made sure they never had any doubt about the level of his devotion to them. He was well loved and will be truly missed.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lottie Thorne; grandson, Monty Edward Thorne. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sheryl Thorne; sons, Jonathan Thorne, Christopher Thorne and wife Christi, Jason Thorne and wife Jovonna; as well as thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Jimmy also leaves behind other loved ones and lifelong friends.
