Johnny R Staines

Johnny Randall "Randy" Staines, age 69, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Randy was born April 20, 1953; to parents, Sherman Staines and Verna Mae Hanks. He married the love of his life, Cherry, on June 21, 1995. Randy was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Randy retired from Texas Power & Light and started his own company, Tech Serv in 1992. He dedicated his life to growing the business and bettering the lives of all who helped make his vision of TechServ become a reality.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Staines and Verna Mae Hanks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cherry Staines of Malakoff; daughters, Stephanie Roy of Bullard, TX., Tiffany Leffingwell and her husband, Robert of Mabank, TX., Amanda Staines of Mabank, TX.; grandchildren, Taylor Forester and significant other, Tony Ogburn of Mabank, TX., Skylar Forester of Mabank, TX., Ezra Roy of Bullard, TX., Evan Thompson of Mabank, TX., Ciara Thompson of Mabank, TX., Lana Roy fo Bullard, TX.; great-grandchild, Onyx Ogburn; brother, Steve Staines and his wife, Becky of Athens, TX.; sister, Sherwin Hutchins and her husband, Buddy of Edom, TX.; mother-in-law, Nita Walker of Gun Barrel City, TX.; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 1:00pm; located at the Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, TX.
