Kenneth Wayne Schlebach was born to parents George and Anne “Kitty” Schlebach on July 12, 1957. He passed into eternal rest on October 8, 2020 at the age of 63. Kenneth married his beautiful wife, Lisa Feagin, on June 8, 1979 at St. Martins Catholic Church in Talty, Texas and began their life’s journey together. Kenneth was a devoted and loving husband, wonderful father, adoring grandfather and an amazing brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family, birth and “adopted” more than anything in this world. Kenneth was always someone anyone could count on at any time. He was always ready to jump in and lend a hand anywhere he saw a need. Kenneth was generous with his time and his friendships and was so appreciated by his friends and loved ones. He absolutely loved spending time with his family, whether that was hunting, fishing, watching his Texas Rangers play ball, or spending the day watching his grandkids show their pigs. Kenneth was always ready to have a good time and enjoyed making peoples days brighter. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed the friendships, fellowship and serving his community with them. Kenneth was a motivated and driven man and he owned and operated K and L Construction until he retired in 2019. He could always be found outside, on the tractor, busy doing something nice for others. Kenneth was a big part of so many people’s lives and they all knew that they could go to him for anything.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; George and Anne “Kitty” Schlebach; brothers, Adolph and George Schlebach; brothers-in-law, M.C. Colquette and Vince Cascio. He is survived by his wife Lisa Schlebach; children, Katie Lovern and husband Doug, Karla Cook and husband Jeff, and Tyler Schlebach; grandchildren, Abby and Eli Lovern; siblings, Sidney Schlebach and wife Beverly, Robert Schlebach and wife Kathy, Anthony Schlebach and wife Kimberly, Shirley Colquette, Augusta Cascio; Sister-in-law Peggy Schlebach; and mother-in-law Rita Feagin. Kenneth also leaves behind many children he “adopted” through the years, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones and many lifelong friends. Kenneth was loved by so many and will be missed by them all.
