Linda Marie Milligan, of Gun Barrel City, was born on May 13, 1941 in Pilot Point, TX to parents Troy F. Pierson and Patsy Collie and entered into rest on July 20, 2015 at the age of 74. Linda was a lady of faith and she loved her family dearly. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. Linda loved cooking and especially baking. She went to the Draughn’s Business School in Dallas and worked as a waitress for over 20 years. Linda loved helping the neighborhood kids. She was an AA sponsor to many. Linda was Pentecostal by faith and was a member of Main St. Pentecostal Church in Gun Barrel City. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed tremendously by her family and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, son Rocky Lynn Phillips, a granddaughter and brother Frankie Troy Pierson. She is survived by her husband Elmer Lee Milligan of Gun Barrel City, son Bill Allen and wife Kristy of Neches, grandchildren; Aaron Lipke, Sarah Warden, James Warden, Loren Allen and Rocky Phillips Jr., great-grandchildren; Trinity Phillips and Elaina Reuter, sisters; Barbara Richardson and husband Jerry of Dallas and Sandra Kay Ward and husband Arthur of Arkansas, special niece Debbie Green of Gun Barrel City, other loving family members and many more friends.
