Margaret A. Rowe was born on August 13, 1949 in Plainview, TX to parents Robert & Georgia Locke and entered into eternal rest on February 15, 2016 at the age of 66. Margaret was strong in her faith and loved her family. She loved listening to music, reading a good book and eating; especially her mom’s prune cakes. Margaret never met a stranger and would sit down to have a cup of coffee with anyone. She worked as a PBX operator/receptionist for over 20 years and was involved with the Gun Barrel City Resource Center. Margaret was a devout Christian. She was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wailon O. Martin, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Larry R. Rowe of Dallas, daughter, Kimberly R. Zamecnik and husband, Pete of Prosper, TX and her only grandchild, Ashley N. Zamecnik. She is also survived by brothers, Larry R. Locke of Mixon, TX, Robert (Bobby) N. Locke and wife Sherry of Emory, TX, Steven E. Locke and wife Shawna of Gun Barrel City, TX, sister, Jean Martin-Meyer of Flower Mound, TX, and other loving family members and many more friends.
