Marina Elena Almasan

Marina Elena Almasan, age 60, of Terrell, Texas passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. Marina was born September 7, 1961; to parents, Nicolae Almasan and Livia Beldean. She was a loving and doting wife, mother, and grandmother; who loved spending time with her family. In 2016, Marina and and her husband, Michael, bought a farm in Terrell, Texas. This fulfilled a lifelong dream of Marina’s to own a farm with her own garden and animals just like the precious memories she held dear growing up: going to visit her grandparents' farm in Romania. She always spoke so fondly of those times they spent together.

Marina had a huge heart, one that loved to take care of her family, chickens, ducks, and dogs. She loved to cook, bake, and garden. She lived each day to the fullest and felt blessed to have the love and gifts, that her Lord provided. Marina attended the Academy of Science and Economics in Romania. She used her artistic skills in designing weddings. Marina will be deeply missed by all of those she touched in her lifetime with her kindness.

She is preceded in death by her father, Nicolae Almasan; and sister, Mirela Almasan.

Marina is survived by her loving husband, Michael Almasan of Terrell, TX.; mother, Livia Almasan of Turda, Romania; daughters, Andreea Almasan of Plano, TX., Sabrina Almasan of Plano, TX.; sister, Livia Almasan of Turda, Romania; brothers, Marius Almasan of Turda, Romania, Nicu Almasan of Cluj, Romania; and granddaughter, Alaina Mbombo of Plano, TX.

A visitation service for Marina will be held Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Chapel, 601 State Hwy 198 @ Walnut, Mabank, TX. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Chapel.
