Mr. Marion Roger Johnson

Marion Roger Johnson was born on March 25, 1944 to parents Otho and Laura Johnson. He passed into eternal rest on November 22, 2020 at the age of 76. Roger was a generous and kind man. He was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Roger was a devoted son, husband, father and brother, uncle and one of his absolute greatest joy was being a grandfather. He loved his family tremendously and was always there for them. Roger was known to be funny, sarcastic and had no filter and was even more incorrigible as he got older. He was always ready with a joke and a smile. Roger’s hobbies included hunting, reading, and watching any and all the old western movies he could get his hands and he loved his old 1966 Chevy. His favorite pastime however, was spending time with his sweet granddaughter Victoria, they were like two peas in a pod and one of his greatest treasures in this life. He was well loved and will be truly missed.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; Otho and Laura, sisters; Peggy Sue and Betty Jo, brothers; Otho Howie and Jimmy Lee. He is survived by brother Gerald Wayne, sisters; Mary Lois, Rendy Kay, sons; Andrew and James, daughter Vickie, honorary daughter Shirley Powell and granddaughter Victoria and step-mother Katherine Johnson. Roger also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, other loved ones and lifelong friends.
