Mary Lee Simmons

Mary Lee Simmons was born on July 24, 1939 in Eustace, Texas to parents Elick Zander Ashton and Minnie “Wallace” Ashton She entered into eternal rest on April, 7, 2020 at the age of 80. Mary enjoyed making jewelry, fishing, cooking for everyone. She knew how to do sign language to help communicate with her sisters. She was also a cook in a restaurant for a short amount of time. She was the 15th of 19 children. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, 13 of her brother and sisters; E.Z Ashton, Marie Atherton, Allene Bradley, Eula Adams, Billy Don Ashton, Edgar Ashton, Lillie Kirkwood, Elsie Moseley, J.R Ashton, Seab Ashton, Alice Cox, Jimmy Bonsal, and J.E Ashton.

She is survived by sons; Travis Meeks of Longview, TX, J.D Meeks of Eustace, TX, daughters; Mary Ann McGill of Eustace, TX, Teresa Johnson of Eustace, TX, 6 grandchildren, Crystal Meeks, Tiffany McGill, Brittany Huggins, Jeremy Meeks, Rachel Baugh, Travis Allen Meeks, 19 great-grandchildren, Robert, Zayden, Colton, Joshua, Hailee, Dakota, Charlie, Peter, Claire, Camirrah, Dylan, R.J, Calvin, Brian, Benjamin, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Arabella, Tyler, sisters; Brenda Wheeler of Irving, TX, Lometa Domenic and husband Mike of Quinlan, TX, Vivian Hesser and husband John of San Marcos, TX numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends and family members
