Michael Herbert Cloyes, age 75, of Gun Barrel City, Texas passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025. Mike was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 5, 1949 and was a long-time resident of Gun Barrel City. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for many years, retiring from active-duty service in 1989.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. Cloyes and Ethel Melba Cloyes (England).
He is survived by his wife, Roxie Cloyes; son, Sean Cloyes; daughter, Shannon Phillips and husband Kirt; stepdaughter Lori Smith and husband Steve, and Shane Kelso; four grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home, 601 South 3rd Street, Mabank, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
