Mike was born in Athens, Texas on July 16, 1958 to his parents Dee Pelham and Joann (Eves) Pelham and grew up mostly in the Garland, Texas area.
As a teen, Mike was baptized along with his immediate family at Orchard Hills Baptist Church in Garland. Mike graduated from South Garland High in 1976. After graduation he worked at Kraft Foods in Garland for many years and later became a long haul truck driver.
Through all of this, Mike maintained his love for Football and Motocross Racing. Mike will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Walter (Pat) R. and Hilda (Hughes) Eves and Arthur and Jessie (Smith) Pelham.
Mike is survived by his brother, Tim Pelham; nephew Travis Pelham; Aunt Pansy Odom and Roland (Midge) Odom.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 601 S. 3rd Street, Mabank, Texas 75147 on thursday, August 31st.
Michael will be laid to rest in Oaklawn, 18056 E. US HWY 175, Mabank, Texas.
