Mrs. Patricia E Hayes

Pat Hayes was born on March 19, 1937 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to parents Tracy Wade and Nancy Gertrude (Brannen) Savage and entered into eternal rest on February 22, 2017 at the age of 79. Pat truly loved her husband, Charlie and her children and grandchildren. She also had a special place in her heart for Peaches, her dog. Pat loved working crossword puzzles and going to church. She was a member of Living for the Brand Cowboy Church in Athens. Pat gave the best hugs and always had a smile for everyone. She loved to dance, loved music, wanted work done correctly. Pat kept everyone around her smiling during chemo and radiation treatments. She always sent endearing note cards to friends and family even while fighting cancer. If she was your friends, you knew what the definition of a true friend was. Pat was a very loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, brother Tommy Savage and sister Nancy Savage.

She is survived by her loving husband Charlie Hayes of Malakoff, son Rocky Savage of Ft. Worth, daughter Lynn Amundson of Cedar Hill, daughter Risa Vallejo of Waxahachie, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her dog Peaches, best friends Pam Smith and Dorothy Bailey, other loving family members and many more friends.
