Mr. Robert Earl Garner Sr.

Robert was born on August 27, 1932 in Crockett, Texas to parents Raymond and Ethel (Anthony) Garner and entered into eternal rest on November 2, 2018 at the age of 86. Robert was raised in Eustace, Texas. He joined the United States Army and served and fought during the Korean War. Robert was a hardworking man, owning his own air conditioning company for many years. He was the truest of cowboys. He loved raising his horses and would ride from sun up to sundown. He enjoyed traveling and showing horses. Robert loved his family; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His home was always open to family and friends, who needed something or a place to stay. Robert attended church at First Baptist in Wylie. He was an amazing man who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 66 years; Melba Garner, brother R.G. Garner and sisters; Pearl Beets and Irma Klein.

He is survived by his son Robert Earl Garner Jr. and wife Renae of Van Alstyne, daughter Becky Burns and husband Dr. Dean of Texarkana, son Mark Garner and wife Jhojo of Caddo Mills, grandchildren; Ashley and Oscar Cavazos, Aaron Garner, Anson and Katie Garner, Courtney and Kyle Wyatt, Kylie Burns, Anthony and Lindsey Garner and Meagan Garner, seven great-grandchildren, other loving family members and many more friends.
