In 1978, I learned what a true gentleman was. We were just 2 teens at Mabank High School who were crazy about each other and shared a couple of the best years  of our lives together. Ronny set the standard and it doesnt go away. There is no other like Ronny. Never will be.  I guess thats what young love teaches us sometimes.  I will never forget our summers on Chamber Isle or your rock star smile, nights at the game rooms,  you singing all those songs, our trips to Dallas, nor the honor of you  sharing your heart with me. 
You will always be with me ... Until we meet again.

I met Ronny as a kid about 12 years old playing football in the neighborhood where I grew up, he was fast and strong , I would jump on his back and try to tackle him, he carried me to the goal line almost every time on his back. Later we became good friends riding dirt bikes like crazy guys, chasing the girls and hanging out at the lake. I will never forget the time we tore down a Kawasaki motorcycle in his bedroom , scattered all over the room hoping we could put it back together , Ma got mad at us for having so much junk in the house  but we put it back together and it actually ran! We built bikes together cars , trucks, houses, and  life. Ronny and I have been friends more than 40 years , He was there when my kids were born , when I got married the first time and second time , when I built my first house and when I wrecked my first car chasing an armadillo down the ditch! There is so much to say about him but most of all What a friend always there when I needed him , one of the most kind and true people you could meet. Ronny has always and will forever be my best friend ! Rest in Piece my friend till we catch up again. 

Ronny you are my brother , when we were younger you & Johnny were a pain in my behind but as we got older just like any brother  you  were an ear to listen to my problems & you were my protector when I needed you except when  you & Johnny  would take my running around with ya`ll to Goshen Cemetery  late at night. I will miss you dearly ,your goofiness, your smile,your laughter, most of all your kind heart! I love you my brother & look out for Steven for me until we are all together again.

Met Ronny many years ago through another friend, John Watson. He was a lover of old cars that is for sure! Always fun to be around. Great guy. Prayers for the family and friends. He will be missed.

Long time family friend who was just like a big brother...remember when he'd swim with us at our old house & through us around playing like a big kid, had the biggest crush on him when I was a youngin lol he gave me awesome biker wrist cuffs when I was 14 & I still have them & wear them to this day! Will cherish them always & gonna miss seeing you randomly at dad's house...

Ronnie,Robert and I spent one hot day Packing Robert up to move to Houston.We sat around the kitchen table talk about the good ole days .Ronnie would stop what he was doing to help anyone Ronnie go rest on that high mountain an tell everyone Hi gone to soon Your loving cousin Nancy Lockwood an family

Lots of great memories with uncle Ronny. I remember him taking all of us nieces & nephews on motorcycle rides when we was younger. Even after I was 23 I had a lot going on in my life at the time & he came home from work & asked me if I wanted to go on a ride with him to get things off my mind. So many memories that I will cherish forever. You may be gone Uncle Ronny but you will ALWAYS BE MISSED, ALWAYS LOVED & NEVER FORGOTTEN.

I was Ronnys niece i remember growing up with him we played cowboys and indians as a child and i remember him allways working on hot rods..Growing up with Ronny was a blessing he was a big part of my life cause he was allways there for me and my kids .Since he had no kids he was a big part of my grandsons life and he was very loved by me ,Darrieon and my daughter Leah ..im Devestated over the lost of my uncle and will never forget him and the memories we shared.
