Scharrie Ann McCoy, was born on June 26, 1944 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to parents Truman Lidster and Aileen Conn and entered into eternal rest on February 3, 2015 at the age of 70. Scharrie loved to care of everyone. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Scharrie loved indoor gardening and going boating. One of her favorite things to do was dancing with her loving husband; Elby. Scharrie went to cosmetology school with her best friend Marsha. She was a Baptist by faith and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. Scharrie was tough as nails all the way to the end. She was a loving caring lady who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Scharrie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Macy Gideon and Nelda Ruth Brown.
She is survived by her husband Elby McCoy of Gun Barrel City, daughter Kim McCoy and husband Doug of Ft. Worth, son Tim McCoy of Gun Barrel City, daughter Shannon Brown and husband Rich of Dunnellon, FL, sister Lynette Gomez and husband Antonio of Malakoff, brother Wayne Lidster of Duncanville, sister Wunita Lidster of Florida, grandchildren; Tabitha, Brittany, Timmy and Derek, two great-grandchildren; Berlin and Donovan, other loving family members and many friends.
