Shirley was born in Chicago, IL on March 12th, 1932. She married her husband of 62 years, Howard on May 9th, 1953. Shirley and Howard have 4 children, Janet – who lives in Santa Fe, NM, Howard Jr. of Dallas, TX, Judy Murray of Austin, TX, and Jim, who lives in Gun Barrel City, TX. She also has 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Shirley was fond of music and was an accomplished pianist. She also sang in the Highland Park Presbyterian Church choir for nearly 40 years.
Well-traveled and well read, Shirley settled in the Cedar Creek Lake area 20 years ago where she has enjoyed her family, friends, the water, and many beautiful sunsets. Blessed in so many ways, and thankful for them all, her spirit now resides with the Lord, whom she loved all her life.
