Alan D. Eppenbaugh

Al was born June 25, 1955 in Rockford, Illinois - the son of Gerald and Lorraine Eppenbaugh.

Al graduated from West High School in 1973, then graduated from the IBEW Apprenticeship in 1978.

Al married Debbie Hurless on March 27, 1976 in Rockford, Illinois. Al and Debbie founded A&D Electric in 1988.

Al loved to fish and hunt; he was particularly fond of the Rend Lake Annual Deer Hunt for Persons with Disabilities. Al also loved to play Euchre, Cribbage, 500, and Dominos.

Al was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 50 years.

Remaining to cherish Al's memory are his spouse, Debbie Eppenbaugh; children, Amy Meyer and Lisa Westholder; son-in-laws, Andrew Meyer and Luke Westholder; grandchildren, Charlotte and Eli Meyer; niece, Sarah Fritz; nephew, Joshua Anderson.

Preceding Al's death are his parents, Gerald and Lorraine Eppenbaugh; siblings, Russell Eppenbaugh and Melody Anderson.

The visitation will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life directly following.
