Betty J. Norman, 96, of Loves Park, Illinois passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. She was born on March 26, 1927 in Rockford, the daughter of Wilbur and Wilma (Rock) Stone. Betty married Gerald Norman on November 10, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois. Betty enjoyed crafting, decorating for holidays, traveling and playing cards especially 31 and cribbage.
Survivors left behind to cherish her memory include her children, Bob (Sarafina) Norman, Sharon (Joseph) Magin, Nancy (Russell) Elliott, Mark (Mary) Norman; 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brothers, Stoney Stone, Ray (Lenora) Stone; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents; husband, Gerald; sisters, Doris, Vera, Pauline; twin sisters, June and Janette; and brother, Harold.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park with a visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service. Private family entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
