Delores, Debbie and family,  I am so sorry for your loss. I am sorry I did not see this until today, you know I would have been there come hell or high water.  Billy  was the best man I have ever known and the biggest sweetheart there is.  I enjoyed all the times I spent with all of you and send you my thoughts and prayers.

Billy you will be missed. I will always remember working with you and we rode bikes together. I always enjoyed are times together. You were like a second dad to me.

Bill was a great man with a huge heart.  So glad I met him and got to know him, he was one of my favorite vets.  Love to see all the pictures.  My heart & prayers goes out to his wife, Deloris & family.

Words could never convey the sadness I feel. Uncle Billy had such a huge presence. Every memory of him includes his smile and his laugh! He was generous, and silly,and spoiled rotten by Delores! I love you all very much. Even though we don't see each other often, you are always in my thoughts!

We will always remember Bill with a smile on his face! We are forever grateful to him and Dolores for raising our wonderful sister in law, Shelley.  The good in him was definitely passed on to his three beautiful daughters.  We are so sorry for you and the sadness you feel now and hope one day you will be at peace knowing your dad and husband is now eternally happy.

To all of Bill's family.  What a shock for all of you, Bill's passing is.  What a jovial and loving man he was.  I am sure there is a sadness in your hearts now, that we hope will be replaced with all of your good memories of him. We are thinking of all of you at this sad time.

A big man with a big heart who will be missed by family and friends alike.

It started back in the 1960s when this very big young man and his beautiful wife moved into the neighborhood on 17th street and 17th avenue. I was in my pre teen years when my older brother had a crack up with the family car far from home. To the rescue was this new neighbor who towed the car home. He barely knew my parents, Roger and Helen when he did this wonderful deed. It did not take long for the neighborhood to meet this great hearted man. Besides being a breadwinner for his beautiful wife, Bill loved to work on cars after toiling at his job.He worked on cars for people from all walks of life, doctors, politicians, former mayors, and members of my family. I quickly got to know and admire Bill as did all the neighborhood boys. Bill could tell funny stories as well as anyone ever could even at the simplest of predicaments. Bill had a collection of tools that he used and cherished when he did his automotive work. He was kind enough to let me borrow his tools so that I could work on my various hobbies. If I had a part for my go-cart that was broken, Bill would take it into work and reverse engineer it and make a new one. My parents loved Bill and his wife Delores like their own. Bill has three beautiful daughters, Debbie, Shelly, and Lisa that I used to babysit until my future wife Florence took over that job. When in my early teens, Bill used to come over and pick me up and we would go on small trips in his big red Ford pickup truck. To me, my brother Neil, and my late parents Roger and Helen Carlson can attest that the world was a much better place when Bill was in it. I am truly blessed with a great memory as I can recall many great stories Bill used to tell me and make me laugh. Bill made us all laugh all of the time. He was truly a Great Human Being that all of us who knew him will grieve his passing. From the Carlson's, our deepest sympathy and may the Lord comfort his family in their time of grief.

Bill was always a fun guy to be around,lots of interesting comments and sayings.I'm sure he'll be missed by family and a lot of friends.Family was important to him, nice pictures. I was proud to call him my uncle.

The world lost a great man this week. I will always remember what a kind, funny & generous man Bill was to so many people who crossed his path. He loved his wife Delores, daughters & grandkids so much. I will miss him &the twinkle in his eye!
