

Bobby L. Bargman, 74, of Machesney Park, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center. Bobby was born on September 20, 1950, to Kenneth and Vivian Bargman in Anna, Illinois. Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He married the love of his life, Genneieve “Genny” Culver. He was employed with Amerock for 36 years, and Syncron for 10 years.
Bobby had a special interest in sports. Bobby played baseball in his younger years. He went on to be an avid bowler, playing in many leagues throughout the years. Bobby also particularly loved football, and you could count on him cheering on the Chicago Bears. He was always telling silly jokes. You could count on him smiling and laughing. He was the first one to come, and the last one to leave when somebody would ask for help.
After the children were grown, he loved to travel with his wife. He visited several states but always wanted to live where he grew up. He loved his family and friends immensely.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Genny Bargman; children, Heather (Nicholas Sanchez) Jones and Kimberly (Joseph Wallis) Bargman; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dakota Jessen) Stolp, Katherine (Trevor Lange) Bargman, Zeth (Faithe Lindsey) Jones, and Gavyn Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Jace Stolp, Bryson Bargman, Daxx Jessen, and soon to be, Kyler Lange; siblings, Bill (Cheryl) Bargman, Tim (Suzette) Bargman, Linda Bargman, Mary (Duane) Hall, and Marla (Wade) Fields; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Culver, Christine Culver, Shirley Culver, Jim and Joan Johns; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Bargman; mother, Vivian (Provo) Chastain and step-father, Joseph Chastain; parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Alvie Culver; brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Michael, Richard, and Arthur Culver; sister-in-law, Terrie Culver.
