Dale H Laman

Dale Harold Laman, 76, of Roscoe, IL, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at P.A. Peterson after a lengthy illness. He was born December 27, 1944 in Freeport, IL, the son of Harold and Marie (Winter) Laman. Dale married the love of his life, Sharon Naab on November 20, 1962 in Loves Park, IL. He was employed by Dean Food’s in Huntley, IL, for 10 years. Dale was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church. He loved golfing and being on the go. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Dale was a hardworking husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who attended his grandchildren’s sporting events as much as he could. He could always be found in the stands, cheering them on.

Dale is loved and missed by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; children, Mark Laman, Kristi (Todd) Andrews, and Michael (Dee) Laman; grandchildren, Mandi (Ryan) Andrews, Bo (Julia) Andrews, Shawn Laman, Paige Laman, Sami Monti and Kayla Richards; great-grandchildren, Vander, Jersi, Remi, Aurora, Kayden, Kameryn and Alexys; sister, Diane (Scott) Hawkins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Nicole Laman, and siblings Gary Laman and Donna Kopinski.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have taken place.
