Dale J. Reisen

Dale J. Reisen, age 89, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026. He was born July 7, 1936 to Ernest Charles Reisen and Adeline Catherine Holzer in Platteville, Wisconsin. He worked as a carpenter for many years at Miller Brothers Construction and eventually went on to work for himself. He married the love of his life, Donna Jean Reisen, on June 2, 1956 and they spent 60 wonderful years together before she passed in 2016. He was a member of St Edward’s Catholic Church in Rockford. Dale loved golfing, he loved to play with his buddies and win all their change in quarter rounds. He enjoyed fishing and listening to classic country music.

Dale is survived by his children, Lynn (Michael) Reisen, Michael (Eva) Richard Reisen, and Kimberly (Larry) Brown; grandchildren, Jeremy Justin Hedden, Kelsey Matthew Hedden, Bradley J. Hedden, Marissa (Brett) Phillis, Jared (Mikhaila) Reisen, Noah Reisen, and Aaron (Savannah Bartlett) Michael Brown; along with great-grandchildren, Johnny Hedden, Jacob Hedden, Olivia Hedden, and Mason Phillis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Reisen; parents, Ernest and Adeline Reisen; siblings, Donald Reisen, Maynard Reisen, Kenneth Resien, and Jeanette Fritz; and beloved dog, Mitzi.
