Darlene A. Cox, 80 of Rockford passed away March 9, 2014 at her home. Born December 14, 1933 in Janesville, WI; she was the daughter of Melvin and Catherine (Keeter) Kolberg. On April 9, 1952 she married Merle Cox in Beloit, WI.
She retired as manager from American Mobile Homes.
Survivors include her children, Debbie (Bill) Snider, Kevin (Bella) Cox, Toni (Ernie) Kuck, and Tracy (Jeff) Lind; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; siblings, Donna, Ron, Don, and Roger; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, husband, siblings, Richard, Nancy, and Robert.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, with Pastor Wendell Maynard officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service.
