Dennis M.C. Moore, 88, of Machesney Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, November 10, 2025 at Javon Bea Hospital after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born February 9, 1937 in Phil Campbell, AL, the son of Claudie and Irene (Sneed) Moore. M.C. attended Phil Campbell High School in Alabama. He married Joanne Lasky, on October 1, 1955 in Rockford. M.C. was a talented tool and die maker, and started his own business, Method Molds, over 40 years ago. He enjoyed fishing. Dennis adored being on the water, especially in his boat "Sea Angel."
Dennis is loved and missed by his wife of 70 years, Joanne; children, Jim Moore, Bob Moore, Patti (Joe) Wetch and Tom Moore; grandchildren, Natalie Moore, Torey Moore, Melissa Moore and Carolyn (Cameron) Westendorf; and great-grandchildren, Silas, Beren, Edmund and Titus Westendorf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie and Irene, sister Jeanette Gunter, and brother Leon Moore.
A private family celebration of life will take place.
