

Diana is remembered for her vivacious personality, great sense of humor, love for her family and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.
Diana was born on March 11, 1951, in Rockford, Illinois.
While raising her family Diana earned Degrees in Respiratory Therapy and Practical Nursing and was licensed in the State of Illinois.
Diana married the love of her life, David A. Hudson on Valentines Day in 1976. Together they built a life centered on love and family until his passing in 2010.
Diana celebrated life with music and flowers, and was especially proud of her home and collection of Longaberger baskets. Above all, she cherished time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family brought her greatest happiness.
Diana is survived by her brother David Holderman,
daughter Georgiana and husband John Smart; her son Daniel and wife Elly Hudson; Grandchildren,
Carson (CJ) Koralewski and fiancée Regan Cobern, Jessica Koralewski, Niklas Koralewski, and great grandmother to Jay, Lennox and Caden Koralewski.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Holderman; her husband, David A. Hudson; sister, Donna Marean and her daughter, Jennifer McCallion.
Diana’s life was built on love, family, and her fierce strength. Though she has gone from our sight, the warmth she gave, the love she shared, and the memories she created will remain with us always. She is not gone from us, but is carried in every heart she touched.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 North Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, Illinois 61115
