Donald J. Curtis 79 of Ocala, Florida formally Rockford. Died April 20, 2015 in Ocala, Florida. Born to Richard and Emily (Mann) Curtis May 30, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI . Married Shirley Quast on May 8, 1954.

Don was a great handyman. He was very loved and will be missed dearly.

Survived by wife, Shirley of almost 61 years; daughters, Susan Dolsen of Goldendale, WA. and Sandra (Vito) Ferro, Byron, IL.; brothers, Robert (Anne), WI. and Bradley (Amy) Lena, IL.; grandchildren, Sheila (Charles) Whaley, Teresa (Tim) Brown, Regina (Jason) Hillhouse, Kenneth J. (Carmen Davis) Bland, Carlee (Sean Carlson) Wheelon, Katee and Tasha Wheelon; great-grandchildren, Arieanne, Carissa (Spencer Morrissey), Brayton, Colton, Ayden, Makenzie, Chloe, Morgan, Jaidyn, Maddex, Audrey, Teegan and Kinslee; special Godson, Albert Quast; brother-in-laws, Alan and Keith (Liz) Quast; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Richard and Emily Curtis; stepmother, Jean Curtis.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Sunday April 26, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park, IL . Visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial Sunset Memorial Gardens.
